I am honoured to be recognized as one of the Top 10 Most Influential Hispanic Canadians! I was selected alongside a group of talented members of the community at a Gala in Toronto, bringing together business leaders and sponsors.
1.2 million Hispanics live in Canada, and for the past 17 years, this award has recognized 170 recipients who come from many professions and industries. We are entrepreneurs, scientists, professors, businesspeople, community leaders, and elite athletes, all contributing to Canadian society and the economy.
In my acceptance speech, I thought it fitting to recognize my parents, who had the incredible courage to come to Canada from El Salvador. They made many sacrifices for our family to be where we are today. I dedicate this award to them.
And thank you to all who have supported my career from near and from far, as well as those who voted for me. I am truly grateful.
